top end rpm and electical short?

we have 2 stroke 225 ox 66. the get up to 5700rpms the after 2=3 mins port motor will die back to 4800rpms. when we hold down the trim motor buttonfor that motor the rpms go back to 5700. and stay till we let the button go. then they drop back to 4800. we can repeat at any time with same response. any ideas?

I'm having the same problem with my ox66. Did you find out what was causing your problem?
