I really hope the recent tirades, unkind words and posts requiring edits from JB or the Mods are simply a sign of winter setting in.

I think some here need to lighten up and give it a rest.

And I'd like to thank JB, the Mods, Admin5 and iBoats in general for putting up with it. I really like coming here for the lighter topics as both boats are put away for the winter and I have no boating questions right now.

Re: Top ten signs winter is here

I can say that I am suffering without the boat. This time of year is the worst for me because it is too cold and rainy to boat or mountain bike (yeah I am a fair weather outdoorsman). It is also not cold enough to snow so I can cross-country ski and just do winter things, so I end up bouncing off the walls. My job is seasonal, and while I don't have to work all year to live, I run out of things to do pretty quick. Consequently, I end up here several times a day...

TackleWasher and JasonJ,

You guys need to take up skiing or snowmobiling, or snowman building.

Something!!

How about ice fishing or wood carving?

The winter is long and cold and you really need something to do, to get through it.

Rest assured that spring will be here soon, and you'll be able to uncover them boats!

You guys have got to find something to do. I do not have a project boat going right now, but I did talk my neihbor into letting me jazz up his old 6 hp. John.

Just keeping me in tune too! :D
