Actually a question for a friend of mine.
His Drive is a little low on lube. There does not appear to be any water in it, etc just needs a little more fluid. Obviously I know he should drain all of it out, check the gaskets, etc but if he wanted to just top it off can he just put some in the top of it where you remove the dipstick. I told him to wait and let me ask here because i thought i read somewhere you can introduce an air bubble into the system that way.
Can he just top off a 1/4 of a quart thru the dipstick hole in the top of the outdrive??
