The main bearing bolts are 3/8 and would take the same torque as the head bolts on a 50--I think it is something like 250-280 inch pounds. I forget because I rarely do heads on these engines. The small 1/4 X 20 flange bolts are torqued to standard 70 inch pounds.

Edit: Yeah, 270 inch pounds as stated in the chart.

I had the main bolt specs. The perimeter bolts are what I was concerned about. My pistons didn't show up yesterday, so I'm hoping they make it today. I'm assuming I just need to smear a light coat of black RTV around the perimeter of the block halves before bolting everything together. Can you confirm that? Thanks again.
