I need the torque for a 1984 Johnson 235 hp outboard crankcase to block and piston rod bolts. Neither are included in the manual I assume they are the same as the 225 hp but would like to make sure the 225 is listed as
42 - 44 ft lb for the rod bolts and 60 - 80 in lb for the crankcase to block. There is also no sequence listed for the crankcase.
Thanks in advance
Bill

Re: Torque

Rod screws are listed at 40-42 N-m or 29-31 ft. lb.

Don't know exactly what the other parts are that you refer to - crankcase halves maybe?
