Hi Guys. I have an Evinrude 140 HP Motor and I am installing a Propellar on.Can anyone tell me How hard The nut must be on, that is what Torque does it take to install.Thanks.<br /> Joe.B
Not much torque required here. Tighten the nut by hand about as much as you can twist on a screw driver. Align the cotter-pin holes, and your done. Don't forget, its only a plastic thrust washer......
Thanks for that.You said it's only a plastic thrust washer,where abouts is the plastic thrust washer?When I took it off I did not see a plastic washer.There was a back plate and under the nut, it is a thick brass washer.Should there be any other washers?Once again thank you.
