Was wondering if any of you guys have in use a Torqueedo outboard to propell ligh boats in places that are banned for 2 stroke outboard uses. The model I'm interested in is the Cruise 4.0 equivalent to a 10 HP outboard. Would like to know the max speed possible of achieving on light applications and if it can plane a 3.40 Mtr light Rib which must ride at the same or exceed the speed of an eight rower boat riding on its side on flat calm no wind water cond as a closed lagoon.

How many Knots/ MPH rowing at 6 Meter per Second be ? That's the min speed needed to follow a rower boat.
