1988 3 cylinder Yamaha outboard, 2 cycle. Running fine last time on the lake, went back to start, not even a click. Could it be the starter cylenoid or is there an inline fuse that is part of the engine assembly? Bypassed the neutral switch and nothing. Any suggestions. Nothing else on the circuit except the engine. A broken wire has not been found. Thanks!

Re: Total lack of electrical power to the ignition

I have a 1989 Seasprite w/ inboard engine. It needs some work. I bought a new battery and hooked it up. One minute I had power to the ignition, now I don't. This sounds like the same issue. Is there a circuit breaker or fuse somewhere out of site? I have tried all the fuses that I have seen and all are good...checked with meter. What could it be? Any help would be great.
