I have a 92 johnson 40 hp. I just replaced the plastic (shell) that attaches to the cable on one end and to the round ball on the lever. When I push the lever to the position to raise the motor I can't move the motor very far to the up position. In other words the cylinder is not moving and is not helping to raise the motor. What can I try to get the cylinder to move when I try to lift the motor up to put the brace to the trailer under it? thanks for any help. chodie
