I have a Mercury 1150 Serial# 47357xx(1977) with a bad cylinder. I found someone with a power head from a 1150 Serial # 33710xx(1972). I was hoping someone knows if the power head from the 1972 is interchangeable with my engine including carbs, starter,ignition and flywheel. I seem to remember there were some changes in or around 1973 or 1974 and I would hate to find out I have something that will not work on my engine. I appreciate any information anyone may have.
