I'm new to boats. My 2000 searay 210 is my first. Took some time but got all the kinks worked out and she is reliable. Everyone loves tubing and the watersports but room is an issue. I want to get a tower to hold tubes an boards etc. but I'm alergic to too much sun. What are the budget freindly options? How do they mount?

I bought my boat with a Monster tower already installed by the previous owner, and I love it. If you do a lot of water sports it's very nice. It allows us to hang wakeboards, towels, and life jackets on it to keep them off the floor, plus you can hand speakers on it for better sound... The previous owner of my boat had to drill holes on the outside of the top rail and put backing in to bolt it to the boat... As far as which brand is better for the money, I don't really know because there are lots of different brands and styles, but I have no complaints about the Monster tower

Monster is probably your most cost effective option. Access to put in backing plates is critical for any tower install.

If you are not comfortable drilling holes properly in fiberglass, see if you have local dealers for any brands that can install for you.

budget friendly and boat ownership are two mutually exclusive topics.

if your allergic to the sun, your going to need a custom bimini top to go with your tower. now the price is adding up fast.

i had your boat's little brother, the 190 a few years back. I simply bought some elastic tube straps to hold the tube to the swim deck when we wanted to go somewhere. knee board went up front and the 3 pairs of skiis in the ski locker.
