I am trying to fix my 115 merc 4-stroke efi and I am trying to test sensors. I notice that the TPS (throttle position sensor) has a torx security screw holding it in under a cover plate. Anyone know why they dont want anyone messing with it? Can I remove it to make sure its clean and working?
