TR outdrive anodes 1984 Holiday Mansion

How do I get Magnesium (freshwater) anodes for my old TR drive? Having a hard time online finding any, would any other types work?

Since the TR, TRS drive has not been made on many years it's doubtful if they can be found. Being in fresh water aluminum can also be used, and if need be might be able to make some.

I have not looked real close at manual 5, but with a quick scan I ave not found where the anodes are attached. They where used on inboards and many used external anodes attached to the hull for protection

I run this houseboat max about 7 MPH on a quiet canal, you guys think if I just got a catch all anode kit for Merc outdrives I could kinda clamp/bolt whatever pieces work? would not be streamlined but I ain't going fast.

Sure don't see any issue with that, aluminum will also be good
