I have a 94 bass tracker pro17. It's been leaking water. I filled it with water and found that the seam on the keel is leaking towards the front along with some minor rivet leaks. Since it's a bass style boat, I cant get to the inside without tearing it apart. I've read a lot of good things on gluv-it and decided to put it on the entire keel a few inches on either side of the seam. The question I have is there is a small weep hole on the keel towards the back. Water was leaking out the hole when i filled it up. I dont know if i have any other leaks inside. I'm wondering if i should cover the entire keel, hole and all, just in case water goes up through the hole and into the boat. What exactly is that weep hole for? Technically, if your seam on the keel is good, you shouldn't get water in there, right?
