Trailer buddy = bearing buddy?

Hi all,

I have a new boat and new trailer.
The trailer has "trailer buddy" bearing covers.
I am wondering if anyone has experience with these, and if they are similar to bearing buddies?

I was going to repack/add grease to the bearings but not sure how these work.

I have the same bearings on my trailer and the silver cap in the middle pops out and then you can add grease to the bearing. As you pump grease the center of the hub starts to move out and that is your sign that the cavity is full. Mine stick out around 3/8" and they work just like Bearing Buddies. UFP is the manufacturer and if you go to their web site they have the care instructions for the whole deal. www.ufpnet.com
