I have a 1987 shorelandr trailer that I need to replace the front v pads I called shorelandr and he looked up the parts for my trailer and they are discontinued. I need some ideas of some rubber that will not mark or poly that is 6"x6" square and 2" thick is the factory sizes that I can cut and drill. I am just can not think of anything that is like what I need. You can see it in the picture it is right were the spare tire mounts to.

I'm not a super mechanical guy, but could you get one of those mats that pick up bed liners are made from?

Call me crazy but why don't you just replace the metal "Y" shape piece with one of the poly types?

You can not use a truck bed mat because it is not thick enough but I even kind of thought about the V stops. I guess I will just have to measure what I have and go pick up a bow V and fab the brackets to fasten it.

If your just wanting to replace those black pads, you don't need anything that is 6x6x2.
You could use some 1/2" or so thick pads of starboard, mounted to the existing steel under those black pads.

I would take the whole thing off,and mount the spare tire somewhere else. You have a good bow-stop [the yellow one] The lower one is not needed.

I don't need the one with the tire mounted to it even though this is a roller trailer. If that can be conformed I will just take it off.
