The trailer I have is and older 50 or 60's model. I have very little information on the trailer besides a few serial numbers on a metal tag. I am interested in extending the trailers length by about four too five feet. I am unable too fine a place that has square steal tubes. Have tried several places online but only sell them in 25 foot sections. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

my input is:
paint it up nice and sell it to buy a trailer in the size you need....

any local welding shop should be able to sell you the tubing but unless you change construction to make the trailer more rigid you will likely end up with a floppy junker.... in the boat trailer world, generally longer equals thicker.

I have to agree with smoke. 4' to 5' is quite a stretch and if you really need that much then I think a new trailer is in order.
