I bought a boat last spring ant got the boat running good and i love it. Now during the off season i want to work on the trailer repalce the bunks rollers and every thing else. So my question is what is the best way to take the boat of the trailer and store it with out putting it in the water for a month at a time. So any ideas or pointers would be great. thanks.

Re: trailer work

If you have a garage or covered area, Slide the back of the boat off the trailer, put 2 tires or blocks under it, slowly pull the trailer out from under it till the boat is like halfway off, put 2 more tires or blocks under the front, and then slowly slide the trailer all the way out.

I have done this numerous times, and it works great. and it makes the boat easy to get back on the trailer when it is done.

Re: trailer work

I need help i have recently purchased a bass boat it needs some work on this boat it had a 79 chrysler 115hp.

From another post,....

A barge that small can be dumped on your side lawn, on some junk tires,...
Then just winch it back onto the trailer when done....
