Just purchased our first toon. After two weekend trips to the lake, I am not comfortable with the motor swinging back and forth While traveling. The dealer told me not to worry about it. Many years ago I had a runabout with a 135 HP outboard that I used a transom saver on. It worked great then so I bought one for the toon and installed it today. Its the swivel eaze angled model. It doesn't keep the motor for sliding on the steering shaft though. Has anybody used the lock n stow? I think that is what i should have gotten.
Thanks
Todd

I just us a bungee cord around the steering wheel and the fence rail. Keeps it from turning every time. (cheap too!)

Re: trailering advice

Mine does not move much at all, if any. In fact, when I'm working on my motor, it takes a little force to swing it left to right. Is your steering cable in good shape? Maybe you have a different type of steering system.

Re: trailering advice

I have a brace from the frame to the motor, and that keeps the motor from moving in any direction, and the power T&T .
