Hey All, I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I can't seem to find a thread about it. Anywho I have a 1992 Sea Ray bow Rider 180 fiberglass ski boat and I would like to mount a helix 7 transducer to the transom. That would involve drilling a hole through the transom to run the wiring to the unit. Can anybody give me a walk down on how to do so? Please and thank you

You run the wire up to a higher spot, above the waterline, drill your hole, be sure to look inside for any obstructions as in wiring or fuel lines.run your wire, secure it to the hull. Seal the hole with 3m 4000 or 4200, and put a clamshell on. I'd also like to add, chamfer all the holes to prevent cracking and give the sealer a place to seal.
