I" looking for another original transducer for a Humminbird Wide 3D View Depthfinder. This is an Awsome Depthfinder as the transducer sends out 6 signals/sonar beams that maps the bottom to show a 3D vision of what's below. This is currently on my Fish &Ski Boat and I wish I could find another transducer and wiring so I could have the same set-up on my Kayak so I could switch back & forth depending what vessel I happen to be using !
ANY ideas or suggestions are appreciated !

Also this DepthFinder is from around 1996 and Humminbird discontinued this model and claims it doesn't have any parts for discontinued items ?? This Depthfinder was around $400 in 1996 and I believe Humminbird has an upgraded version that may also be discontinued at this point called the 947c 3D.

The Transducers I'm needing to find are model numbers SHS 5W or SHS 7W

Unable to say but will offer a thought. Most transducers all work the same way, they send and receive sound pulses. My guess is Hummingbird has used the same wiring for years with little changes. The cables can be cut and soldered back together, just need two sets of new mating connectors (on sounder and one power).

This is taking a chance but you could find a similar used one from ebay or the like. Then cut the cable and see if the wiring is the same. The power connection is pretty simple, the issue is if the sounder has similar specs. Compare the specs of your current one with a possible new one

It looks like Ebay may have some, Zebar. No guarantee that they are exactly what you are looking for..

This doesn't speak very highly for hummingbird....no replacement parts for their units? I have a lowarance and they "claim" to have parts for most all the fishfinders for the last 20 yrs. Can't say they are cheap though....I tried to get an extra transducer for my unit to switch to another boat as well and the replacement was 75% of the cost od a new fishfinder. Guess what I did?
