I replaced my gps and transducer from a 2002 furno to a 2024 garmin
I placed the transducer in the same position as the furno transducer, the starboard side
after reaching speeds greater than 8 knots the signal is non existent, till i reduce speed to 8 knots or under.
the hull is a planning hull with a tunnel for the direct drive prop.
I believe the prop is right hand
does anyone think its prop wash or does the transducer need to be angled more upright

Took me awhile to find the transducer. From what I see ahead of the prop, it should be more upright. The instructions should tell you what if any angle is a no-go.

How about another picture of exactly where the transducer is. If to far out it’s grabbing air from the edge of the boat.

You have a REAL PROBLEM with locating where to put the transducer. Tunnel hulls have loads of air along the top of the tunnel at different speeds. I would mount the transducer 10" to 12" outside of the tunnel bottom edge. Near transom Where the hull is pushing down into solid water at high speeds. A picture of the rear of the boat would pin down where to mount it.

Transducer is in fore of the tunnel, roughly 6” off keel.

Black, box looking thing, particle obscured by the top, center prop blade. Appears to be missing the fairing block. Will not work w/o one

That’s what I thought. But he said it’s 4” from the edge of the boat on the stb side. Picture doesn’t show that.
