Volvo penta 280 from a 1986 bayliner contessa. I removed upper unit to replace bellows. I removed the shifter plate (I shouldn't have) and now the ujoints won't turn. Everything else turns freely. Could someone please help or I'm going to have to pay $85/hour for someone to get to it in weeks. The kids really want to go out on the water. It has to be something simple, right?
