I'm interested in buying my second boat and think I have found it. The only thing is the transom was just repaired. It was just done by professionals a week ago. My question is if the repair was done correctly is there anything to worry about? Is it as good as new?

The boat is a 1984 21' Chris Craft 212 Scorpian.

What kind of repair? In general, if a professional does the work it's usually o.k. I'd have a survey done.

I'll have to find out exactly what type of repair was done. I'm going to go to the shop that the work was done and ask them. All I know is it was fixed due to some wood starting to rot. The guy who has the boat isn't a total stranger cuz he is my fathers buddy. He bought the boat new and took real good care of it. I'll post what I find out.
