Thanks Seahorse, it didn't even dawn on me until I removed the old engine and was looking at the bolt holes. I was hoping I wasn't going to have to make new holes in the transom and then fill in the old ones. I guess it would make sense now that if motors didn't have a common hole pattern there would be a lot of messed up transoms.
