Transom Drain Tube

I know that some of you have replaced a drain tube. I'm refering to the brass tube that an expanding drain plug fits in. What is the proper method to seal it in the hole? What tool do you you need to roll a "lip" like the factory job? Thanks

drain tubes are uasually sealed with 3m 5200 or epoxy

some say the ball part of a ball peen hammer. i just use the pvc fittings with the nut inside, that way i know it is sealed.
