Hey There From Across the Pond

These guys will need more info. I will not be able to help. I read the post because I have a similar prob.

Question I have is: What is a gimble joint?

Mind is working... a little. Have you an i/o motor? And is the gimble joint a part of the lower unit?

Regards
Billy Bob

Re: transom leek

The problem you are having is that there is a rubber bellows surrounding the gimbal that was not properly tightened and is leaking water. You should take the boat back to the meechanic and have them tighten it properly. They had to remove and reinstall the bellows in order to do the job so they are resposible.
