the first pic is just the handle, the second is the threads that lift the motor up and down, 3rd is a pic of all of it, and the last is a pic of how it mounts to the boat, i am assuming its homeade, but dont know anyone else have a similer setup?
never seen that before, but it is similar to a design i though worth trying, in my design however instead of a handle i was going to use a spare power window crank/motor assembly and have it turn the screw (redneck powertrim) lol
I like it if it works and you dont have to worry about hydraulics it is good
it works great, you just have to remember to keep the threads lubed up, but i really dont crank it up or down much, and if it aint broke dont fix it right,
i dont know if it is or not, some things say it is, but it has some really good bends in some pretty thick stuff that almost lead me to believe it was put together in a machine shop
thats true, i am going to go over the transom some time today, may mess with the other stuff, as well (may not calling for a few more inches of the white stuff in the next few hours)
