Transom Paint

I just repaired the transom on my bass boat from the inside, but there were some holes and chips on the outside skin that I had to fill. Looking for a grey paint for the back. It is gelcoat now, but I do not want to try and apply that much gelcoat area. I would just go ahead and use a topside paint, but maybe a couple times a year we go camping and the boat stays in the water/docked for up to 5 days at a time. I thought about interlux brightside (if it would last that long in the water?), perfection 2 part (will it last long enough for that much submersion?), and vc performance (but I need a light grey and it only comes in white). Looking to spray it on as thats what I have experience with.

Not sure Brightside will last for 4 days submerged. Perfection will last indefinitely submerged.

Gelcoat is not that hard to apply. You can spray it with the correct orifice (2.0MM?) It can be rolled as well.

urethane paint holds up well under water as well

Most one part urethane paints are labeled for top side use only. They do not hold up when submerged for an length of time.

Two part urethanes are made for below the waterline use.
