Ive been watching all the posts here for a while, but before I tackle my own transom rebuild (starting in november), what are the books that you guys and gals recommend I read before I get started? I have seen them here b-4 but cant find them and dont remember when I saw them. I am rebuiding a 1980 21' bayliner trophy hardtop with an outboard.

lingcod

I remember someone giving specific books to read. I'm not all that experienced with fiberglass so I want all the help I can get.

lingcod

Re: transom rebuild

Library's will have it and book stores too
If you use polyester resin make sure you use "WAXED" poly,as what they sell as laminating resin is not waxed and won't get hard until you add wax,it just stays sticky
Check my link "Transom repair"click on any picture to get picture and capition
I did mine with WAXED polyester
