Transom savers

Need some advice on transom savers. I bought an Atwood 24" one but when I got it on for storage or hauling, the main 2 cycle oil tank on motor leaks oil. Is the transom saver too long? Any advice would be appreciated

Well without seeing the setup, we can only suggest. If your engine it tilted up that far, maybe you do need a shorter version to change the tilt some. But again, without pictures that is only a guess. JMHO!

Is the defloppenizer adjustable for length? Most are.

Also the oil tank shouldn't leak. Is it the a leaking cap or something else?
