Transom screws/bolts?

Replacing rotted transom in an 85 starcraft islander some of the screws / bolts that go through the stern and transom wood with a nut on the back side to secure it in place were bent and or stripped so going to replace them all but not sure what to order is stainless steel ok or would something else be a better option? Also looking for a good source for them if you have one. My apologies ahead of time I'm sure this topic has been drug out many times new to the forum and couldn't find what I was looking for.

Any nut bolt or crew should be stainless. Anything else will rust. You can source them from a local hardware store. Depending on Quantity, you could buy in bulk online.
