transom tie down and gunnel strap????

If you have transom tie downs on a 18 foot aluminum boat with a 115HP outboard, should you also have a gunnel strap or is that overkill? Thanks Bob

A quality transom strap on each side should be just fine. I love the ratchet ones that stay attached to the trailer.
