Trim and Fuel Guage

Ok, My trim guage is nnot working at all? (are they a pain?) <br />Fuel guage jumps like a 3 year old on a bed?

dont no what kind of drive you have so its hard to say but trim guages usally have problems because of the senders on the drive but it could be a bad connection anywere in the trim sender system<br /><br />fuel guages also dont work very well on most small boats but the same thing you need to check for good connections,good guage and if its still bad and bothers you a new sender in the fuel tank<br /><br />the fuel guage will never give the kind of reading like your use to in a car<br /><br />tommays

Take off the trim guage sender and turn it with your hand to see if the guage moves. Mine was working fine but as the drive moved up / down it wasnt turning the sender, quick squirt of super glue and all was fine again. <br /><br />Re Fuel guage , I just assumed they all register full, full / half , half / quarter depending on the size of the waves!
