Motor will not stay up-slowly drops Somewhere along the many hours of internet search we found that there is an adjustment screw for this. Great -(not) we can't find that adjuster. Maybe it was a different model I don't know. Bottom line is the motor won't stay up. It goes down it goes up but slowly works it's way back down. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated

No adjustment screw.
There might be a release screw but no adjustment.
If it's drifting down the hyd. pump is probably bad.
They can be rebuilt. But way easier to just replace.
On e-bay "Force outboard trim/ tilt"
The hyd. pump is all you need don't buy the housing or electric motor.


Start spraying the screws and hyd. line fittings now with PB Blaster.
Do it for a couple of days.
Make sure you use a line wrench, the regular WILL strip the fittings.
