Trim clicks

I have an intermittent trim issue.... Starboard drive (Alpha 1 Gen 2) goes up fine, trailer up works fine.... sometimes when
I need to trim down the button on the shifter will cause a clicking sound... if I hit it several times eventually it will engage the trim pump to lower the
drive....
Any ideas???

It sounds like the trim switch in the control is going bad or the wiring connections may be loose.

I had the same problem... its the relay on the trim pump... easy fix... part # 89-96158... its the one with the heavy gauge green wire on your trim pump... the clicking you hear is the relay... its just not sending the power out

Ayuh,... I'd Clean all the connections at the pump, before ya buy any parts,.....
