I currently have the dash mounted 3 button trim control and a throttle lever with the neutral safety cutoff switch (I think that's what its called).
Is it possible to swap out my current throttle with one that has the trim button built in to the throttle handle? If so, any idea of what it would cost? I'm getting tired of having to switch hands to hold the steering wheel so my left hand can get to the trim buttons, then switching back so my right hand can get back on the throttle. If I don't keep my hand on the throttle, it will slowly back off on its own. I looked on the back side of the throttle but didn't see anything that I could tighten to keep the throttle from backing off on its own.
I've been thinking if this modification can be done, it would take care of both of my problems.

Re: Trim control question

You need to add another solenoid at the trim pump if there is only 1 there now.
There should be a friction adjustment on the control ,post a pic of the type you have.
