Trim Cylinder Manifold Mercruiser 165

I removed the trim cylinders, hoses and manifold from my intermidiate housing. I am replacing the manifold to accept larger fittings on the hoses for the new style trim pump. When I reinstall the manifold, is it neccessary to use some kind of sealant in addition to the gasket? The outdrive is a Mercruiser 165 from the late '70's.

None required. But to make you feel better. Use Permatex #2 Non-hardening. Works great.
