I have a mix of everything in my setup. Outdrive is a alpha one and the rest is mc1. dont know the year of anything really except that the piston rings for ? 3.0 fits and the boat is from 70's. We've redone the electrical harness and everything that didn't meet our demands. Complete rebuild of engine and so on.
I'm now looking in to the powertrim system and found out that the cylinders are past due date. I think i have the 98704a3 (15 9/16 in) but i'm not sure.
My question is: wich setup are using the short one and what setup uses the longer one?
next question... The trim sender, are they different? One for the trim gauge and one for the trim switch? Anyone who has a diagram or knows by heart where to hook those cables up..
