'89 Alpha 1 - as stated below..

Although I don't SEE my trim cylinders leaking tranny fluid and don't have a problem with operating them (yet), I can assume they are since I seem to be sucking in water. The strawberry milk in my trim pump doesn't look too great.. And I had to patch some "expansion" cracks in the plastic casing earlier.

I'm debating whether to go with the rebuild kit or just replace the o-ring. I suspect it is probably just a bad o-ring. But I was wondering that if I don't have any other operational problems, would there be any reason (other than preventive maintenance type) to go further? I'm obviously leaning towards the o-ring, but would just like some other input.

Any thoughts/comments/suggestions? Thanks!
