Trim electric issue

The "trailer up" switch will raise the stern drive but the trim button will not raise it when depressed. The trim button will lower the stern drive when depressed but not raise it. I have rotated the switch connections and it is not the switch. I have checked the wiring from the switch to the solenoid and it is fine. What is next replace solenoid? Or is there another issue?

Is the trim limit switch on the out drive itself?

If it's newer than approximately 1976 or so then the trim limit sender is on the port side of the drive.
The trim sender switch is on the starboard side.
It can be bypassed, or you can just use it the way it is.
