I need to flush and replace my trim fluid on my 1984 125hp force. the fluid was compromised from water getting in the fill hole/screw.

1.) How do i flush the fluid out?

2.) What fluid should fill it with? quicksilver trim fluid?

I could just start "figuring" it out but am hoping someone on here can point me in the right direction

Re: trim fluid

Take off front bottom oil tube and run pump into bucket.
While oil is being pumped into buck lift and block engine to full raised position.
Reconnect tube, fill and cycle with flushing agents
Repeat system drain.
repeat fill and flush
Repeat drain.
Fill with ISO32 or ISO68 hydraulic oil. 32 is good for cold weather and 68 for hot. Can also use 30w non detergent motor oil but it will be too thick during winter for a 1984.
