trim gauge question

trim gauge on my whaler needles point on wrong side of gauge , but displays the way it should, up and down, is gauge broken or are wires messed up

Just switch the sender wires going to the guage.<br /><br />Usually, geen means down and blue means up.

DJ: Don't most trim gauges only have three wires: ground, +12V and sender ( variable resistance, either low to high or high to low - depending on manufacturer)?<br />
