Trim Gauge

Hello;<br /><br />I just bought a used Javelin Fish & Ski with 2002 115 HP Yamaha Outboard. The problem is that when the trim is all the way down, the gauge only comes down 1/8th of the way from up.<br /><br />I know there is a trim sender, but don't know where it is or if it can be adjusted. Can anyone provide some info and /or illustrations?

Nevermind. I found the problem. The sender actuator ring was cracked, allowing it to spin versus deflecting the sender.
