While crossing another boat's wake (cruising at 30mph) should I trim in and reduce speed ?

Cause I noticed by increasing speed the boat would not bang on the waves but rather jump over them like riding moto-cross.

Either way me wife does not approve...

sure speed up and abuse your boat. if you cross at a slight angle it doesn't band as bad. know you boat an know what it will do. if you had taken a safe boating course you would not be asking this question. that a course. it my life and your families you have in you hands.

if i trim at all i trim out a little. but usually i don't use trim at all. i just slow down, attempting to keep my bow high, and try to engage the wave at 45* or round abouts.

ditto on takeing a boater safety class. a real good idea for sure....+ they're fun.....
