trim limit switch bypass?

on my mercruiser 120 the wires to the trim limit switch are shot can I bypass until the end of the season when I can tear the drive down.

you should be able to trim up by using the trailer button and in/out button. but be careful and don't raise the outdrive too far up while running.

As long as you have a trim indicator and you are able to check it is in the correct range there should be no problem. But I would leave it an intermediate (or more optimal position for you) and forget about trim until next season.
