I hit a sand bar the other day and my trim/tilt went out. I read the forums and did some troubleshooting and was able to get the trim back up and down. She went up and down twice and then went out again.
What I did to fix it the first time was I opened my battery panel and followed lines from the 50A relay back to a box that is labeled "Trim Master" on top of this box was a connector 5/6 pin that I giggled and it brought my trim back up.
After it went out the second time I giggled the same connector and got nothing out of. The box looks worn out, as i giggled the cables the top of the box opened up with no effort. It has 2 connections on the front of it that look like cables/wire with a screw in between them.
I looked at google to see how much a new trim master would cost and found nothing. I looked at bass pro and found something called a Trim Tab Hydraulic pump. I'm mostly trying to figure out what this trim master thing is called and why giggling a cable would fix it temporarily.
Any help you guys have is great! Thanks!!
