Hello everyone, I tried searching for my answer but not exactly found. I have to replace the trim motor bracket on my 96 Glastron, I bought a new SS version, but my question is about the mounting screws. Do these simply screw into the bottom of the engine bay? 4 of the 6 screws are simply rusted through and If I have to make new holes, do I just drill a pilot hole for the new screws? This bracket is bolted to the flat area in the engine bay way above the actual bottom hull of the boat, but I have never replaced one of these before. Thanks for clarification

Yes just screw into the deck. I would put something like 5200 in the screw holes as a sealant to keep water from getting into holes.
