89' Johnson 200 GT
Was in rough water last weekend and my trim/boat leveling gauge went dead. It's either the gauge or the sending unit. I don't know the exact resistance range from up~down. However, I assume that I can simply disconnect the trim harness at the motor and take a resistance value in both the up and down position. There should be an instant resistance difference of ~100 ohms. (Between the two positions) does that sound about right?
