Trim motor wiring

I have a 5.7L Mercruiser. The trim motor was getting power but would not trim up. It was advised to purchase a Steel trim pump bracket with wiring and solenoid 862548A1. My existing wiring is old and barely holding together. All the wiring was held on with posts and screw on nuts. This new solenoid kit has a spot for three small ports that almost look like small USB. Is there a new wiring kit I can purchase? I'm not having any luck finding anything. I have a trim up/down on the throttle and a trailer up switch as well. Thanks for your help.

If you have a mercruiser you have the 3 wire plug that goes into the trim pump.the solenoids use nuts on the studs to connect everything . If the motor had power and was running then the pump is suspect.
